Nick Lines is a visual storyteller at heart. As Creative Director at The Mill Los Angeles and Alt.vfx LA, Nick was fortunate enough to collaborate with some of the world's best creative agencies like Deutsche, TWA/Chait/Day, DDB and Leo Burnett Chicago, with whom he created awesome films for Nintendo America; one of his favorites being Pikman ‘Battle Call’. Combining his two great loves, Character Animation and Filmmaking, he imbues each film with a sense of fun and positivity while staying true to the brand.

As VFX Supervisor for Animal Logic, Alt.vfx and The Mill he worked closely with the world’s best storytellers like Alejandro Inarritu to create beautiful award-winning commercials. This experience has informed his own directing career and led him to pursue stories that are character driven and resonate with the intended audience.

Nick’s darker side comes out in his short films which have earned him multiple accolades, including his 'It's a Wonderful Knife' which had its premiere at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood for HollyShorts Film Festival in 2015 and 'SHRIEK' which won the SHRIEKFEST FILM FESTIVAL Promo Competition 2015 and received an honorable mention by Eli Roth in the CryptTV 15-Second-Scare project clocking more than 1M views.

When not in the directing chair, Nick can be found nerding out in Virtual Reality or at the beach with his two kids and french bulldog.
