Nick graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Communications (Televison Production and Animation).

In 2005 Nick began working at Animal Logic in Sydney creating award winning CG on films and TVC's such as Zack Synders '300', Alex Proyas’ 'KNOWING' and Baz Luhrmann’s 'AUSTRALIA'.

Nick then moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to work with the The Mill, as a CG Lead and VFX Supervisor. Winning multiple Emmy Awards for 'Homage to Entourage' and Proctor and Gambles 'Best Job' directed by  Alejandro Inarritu.

In 2013 Nick directed his first commercial for the highly anticipated game Nintendo's 'Pikmin 3', and has had a continuing relationship with Leo Burnett and Nintendo. Recently completing his 8th commercial for Nintendo 'Paper Mario :Color Splash'

His short films have won multiple awards and have been screened throughout California, including his short 'It's a Wonderful Knife' which had its premiere at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood for HollyShorts Film Festiva in 2015l. Nick's latest modern-horror short 'SHRIEK', won the SHRIEKFEST FILM FESTIVAL Promo Competition 2015 and received an honorable mention by Eli Roth in the CryptTV 15-Second-Scare project clocking more than 1M views.
